CIDETE Micro TEC Facility

CIDETE’s micro thermoelectric device (TEC) fabrication is carried out in a controlled, clean manufacturing environment, ensuring high precision and reliability. The process involves micro-assembly of thermoelectric elements, advanced bonding techniques, and integration onto miniaturized platforms for high-performance cooling. Specialized stations for inspection, electrical testing, and thermal characterization guarantee device efficiency and consistency.

CIDETE   Heat-Pipe Assembly Facility

The CIDETE heat pipe manufacturing facility is a state-of-the-art production environment dedicated to the fabrication of high-performance thermal management solutions for advanced electronic and energy systems. The facility is designed to support precision manufacturing, high reliability, and scalability, ensuring consistent production of heat pipes for demanding industrial applications.

EV Heat Pipes & Ion Caloric Cooling Thermal Management

Advanced thermal management solutions for electric vehicles, combining high-efficiency heat pipe technology with innovative ion-caloric systems. Designed to optimize battery temperature, improve energy efficiency, and enhance overall vehicle performance, these solutions support the next generation of sustainable mobility.

Ionocaloric Textiles Applications

CIDETE’s research on ion-caloric textiles focuses on developing fibre-integrated thermal systems capable of active heating and cooling using electrochemical ion transport. The work combines advanced materials, thermodynamics, and textile engineering to enable flexible, low-voltage, and energy-efficient thermal regulation. This approach aims to transform conventional fabrics into smart, adaptive systems for wearable climate control applications.

Flexible Thermoelectric   Silicone films

Flexible thermoelectric films harvest body heat by converting the temperature difference between skin and ambient air into electrical energy. They can be integrated into wearable devices like sensors, patches, and smart textiles to enable continuous, battery-free operation. This technology supports low-power health monitoring and energy-autonomous wearable systems.
